  33. full featured, fully functional, not crippled in any way, no built in
  34. delays ( other than a 5 second delay in un-licensed copy upon exiting
  35. the program ), professional quality, single entry bookkeeping system
  36. copyrighted by Emerald Coast Software of Panama City, Florida.

  38. Bookkeeping Made Painless, version 1.8 is the result of many, many hours
  39. of programming effort and many, many lines of code being written.
  40.  
  41. BOOKKE.EXE is the end result of countless hours of programming and
  42. compiling 17,482 lines of code. ( This does not include the documentation
  43. and supporting files ).
  44.  
  45. You may try it out at no cost, but if you like it and decide to continue
  46. using it beyond a reasonable time, then you must license it at a cost
  47. of $17 per computer.

  49. Registration will bring you your registration number and code that when
  50. entered into the software will remove all notices of "Un-licensed".
  51.  
  52. If you are in a hurry and have mailed your registration fee, you may call
  53. me on the telephone and if I have received your registration fee, I will
  54. give you your registration number and code.

  56. Registration will also bring you unlimited telephone support for a period
  57. of up to one (1) year from date of registration.

  70. Unlike most commercial software vendors,  we believe that you are
  71. entitled to a trial period of up to sixty days with our software
  72. before you must license it.

  74. We feel that if you continue using our software beyond sixty days, you
  75. should pay us for the privilege and the price you pay should be fair.

  77. Even though payment is legally mandatory, (and would be very difficult
  78. to enforce) we are trusting in your honesty. If you continue to use it
  79. then you should register.

  81. Remember that your payment will help us to afford to develop other fine
  82. programs that you may also be interested in using. One of those future
  83. programs may be the "just what I've been waiting for" type.  Please register.

  85. The free sixty day trial period is intended to allow you to try the
  86. program before paying for it. If at any time during the free trial period,
  87. you decide that you have no use for the program or that it is not right
  88. for you, discontinue using it and, do not register.

  91. of this software to your friends and to "upload" this software to any
  92. computer bulletin board system (BBS).

  113. retain the original file name "BOOKKE??.EXE" where ?? is the version number
  114. and the file is a self-desolving archive containing the complete software,
  115. documentation and supporting files.
